Support Bracket Installation

Measure and mark the mounting locations on your supporting wall.

Start 6" from the edge and space the brackets about 18" to 24" apart.

The bracket must be flush with the top of your supporting wall.

Create a channel for the bracket to sit in:

- Power Tools: Use a router to notch a 1/2" deep channel in the wood.

- Manual Tools: Use a handsaw to make 1/2" deep cuts. Use a wood chisel to remove the wood between the 2 saw cuts to create the channel.
